NDTV and ANI aired a programme detailing these unique classes. This was followed by NDTV Profit and Channel 7 that wanted our response when the Sensex touched the magical figure of 10,000 and then again when it crashed!

In June 2006 Millennium Mams had a week long live coverage on NDTV Profit's prime programme, "Buy or Sell", which featured Kolkata and Delhi students. The students portfolio was analyzed by the channel's stock analysts and recommendations were given.

As part of their Teachers Day  -‘Special Tribute to Teachers’, NDTV profit invited Mr Dhanuka to share with their viewers the Millennium Mams way of educating and empowering women through financial knowledge. Mr Dhanuka outlined his investment strategy in 5 simple points- 

  • Keep it simple
  • Stick to 5-7 stocks
  • Keep a clear objective in mind
  • Invest only with surplus funds
  • Invest in what you understand and keep sentiments and panic under control.

Mr Dhanuka gave the WIPRO story as an example of wealth creation. Anyone who had invested 10000Rs in 100shares in Wipro in 1980 would today have 57,60,000 shares worth 300 crore Rs. This he said was the power of investing and compounding.

Accompanying him was a Mrs. Preetha Wali a second year student who discussed her portfolio with the analysts.

 

Radio

 

BBC would service - outlook, a world famous radio program that covers interacting stories from across the globe, aired a chat show with Millennium Mams.

 

Big FM had a week long coverage of Millennium Mams in March 2007.
